Let’s Hike Using a Drum Pump as a Walking Stick

The Let’s Hike Blog invites its loyal readers to use a drum pump as a walking stick the next time you hit the trails. Of course a hiker can harvest their own walking stick from the bounty of the forest. But often times these “home made” walking sticks are not of the best quality. But when a hiker uses this particular piece of equipment by contrast it is guaranteed not to bend or break as your average stick found on the woodland floor is apt to do. It is for this reason that this piece of equipment works better than the natural alternative.

USE A TOTE PUMP AS A WALKING STICK

All manner of pumps can be used as viable walking sticks as well. They serve this purpose well because they are the right height and can be grasped easily which makes for great hiking. The perfect walking stick stands taller than the height where the hand will hang from the side of the body. It will also provide a sufficient area that can be grasped by said hand. Pumps work especially well in this capacity because they are the exact height required as well as having a sufficient area for hand grasping purposes.

Many people prefer the natural feel of a stick found in the forest. Hiking is a healthy outdoor activity and it stands to reason that people who enjoy hiking would also prefer to use a natural walking stick as more in keeping with the natural aspects of the pass time. Usually, the editorial board of the Let’s Hike Blog would tend to agree with this position, however, once we tried using a pump instead of a natural wood walking stick we were instantly converted. Pumps make for great walking sticks and we invite all of our loyal readers to give it a try.

Let’s Not Hike and Ride in the Wendover Fun Bus

The Let’s Hike Blog invites its loyal readers and newcomers to the blog alike to take a break from their busy hiking strategy and rind in the Wendover Fun Bus for a change. Now we all know the many benefits of hiking. We all know that hiking is a healthy activity. We all know that hiking is fun and a great way to see and explore the great outdoors. But for some people who hike on a regular basis it becomes necessary to take a break from hiking and find some other mode of transportation in which to experience health, fun and beauty. To them we suggest they take a ride on the Wendover Fun Bus.

Do Not Forget About the St George Shuttle as a Fun Mode of Transportation

Of course, no conversation about hiking and using the Wendover Fun Bus as an alternative to hiking is complete without making mention of the St George Shuttle as another alternate fun mode of transportation. This is a true statement because both modes of transportation are equally good in terms of being such an adequate alternative to hiking and yet maintaining the fun quality that hiking seems to possess for the people who engage in such an activity.

Do not get me wrong. This is a blog that is dedicated to the celebration of hiking as a wholesome, fun and healthy activity. We (the members of the Let’s Hike Blog editorial board) are in no way advocating the removal of hiking from the list of activities one chooses to engage in on a daily basis. Rather, all we are attempting to say in this blog is that it is okay to take a break from hiking from time to time. Otherwise, hiking becomes an obligation rather than the joy that it is intended to be.
