Although summer is still kind of far away, were still all very excited for it to arrive. With so many newbies that are going to be hitting the water with their paddle board this summer, I thought I’d share some of my favorite paddle board accessories that are worth having this summer, could save your life, and are even worth spending your money on it.
Waterproof Phone Case
The most important is safety. So the safety equipment should always be purchased first when looking through paddle board accessories. Here’s what you should invest your money in. I love the waterproof phone case that you can bring out on the water with you. It will keep your phone protected from any water damage while you’re out paddle boarding.
Cleaning Products
You probably just spent a fortune on your paddle board so it’s most likely you want to keep that paddle board nice and clean. There are great cleaning products that are made specifically for paddle boards and they are eco-friendly cleaners, which can be safely used on your paddle board, kayak, canoe, and surfboard.
Sunscreen
It’s important that you keep your skin gorgeous and protected while out on the water. You should be putting sunscreen all over your body no matter if the sun is bright or not. With sunscreen you’ll be protecting yourself from skin cancer so please take sunscreen application seriously. To be honest, we should all be wearing sunscreen daily, but if it’s not something that you do then you should at least wear some while out on the water. Being on the water can increase the chances of getting a sunburn and that’s because the reflection from the water makes the rays much stronger.

A dry bag is super important to have with you while being on the water. Whether you’re taking out some food , keys, a wallet repair kit, or a rope, a dry bag can really come in handy. You will most likely never go out to paddle board with absolutely nothing on you.

Buy yourself a picker that folds up and you can keep it in your bag. You’ll feel really good knowing that you are helping the environment while being out on your paddle board. You’ll also be setting a good example for others that are on the water. You can buy a picker from amazon for as little as $7 to $8.
